Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana: If opened at 5, will it mature at 21 or 26? Can you withdraw earlier?

The Sukanya Samriddhi Account matures 21 years after opening, regardless of the girl's age. Contributions last for 15 years, and the girl can withdraw 50% of the balance at 18 for education or marriage expenses. Tax benefits apply under Section 80C.
